Seasonal reminder

Your Doctor at the Devonport GP Superclinic would like to remind you of several seasonal issues that you and your family may consider at this time of the year.

It is again that time of the year for flu vaccinations!

Flu injections are expected to arrive in a few days time, after mid-March 2014.

We remind you if you have a chronic disease or are over 65 years of age, flu injections are FREE. For private patients, flu injections are available at the clinic at very competitive prices. No need for a script nor an extra trip to the pharmacist, we'll have them in stock for you!

Please make an appointment online with your Doctor, or make an appointment in one of our weekly flu clinics to receive your flu vaccination.

The Travel Clinic

Planning a trip overseas?

We are seeing an increase in patients presenting with preventable diseases after travelling overseas. Prevention is better than cure and in most cases it avoids significant danger and considerable discomfort if you become ill overseas.

We would like to remind all of our patients if you are planning a trip overseas, please make an appointment with our Travel Clinic a minimum of six weeks before you go.

The Skin Clinic

Please keep in mind that due to extremely high demands, to book a routine full skin checkup in the Skin Clinic, please allow a minimum of six weeks prior to your scheduled review.

For an emergency review of any new lesion or a change in an existing lesion on your skin, please take the next appointment (available online) with your Doctor.

New Doctors

We are proud to announce that Dr Kokila Kodithuwakku (female) has started practising at the Devonport GP Superclinic, and is available to take new patients.

If your Doctor retired recently or if you are a new patient to our Practice, we encourage you to choose between Dr Gupta, Dr Sharab, Dr Sumith Kodithuwakku, Dr Parakum Suraweera or Dr Kokila Kodithuwakku for your next appointment.

At the Devonport GP Superclinic we encourage patients to consistently see the same Doctor, as this builds a relationship with him/her and allows them to know you better, making the management of your health so much easier. Having your own Doctor facilitates periodic checkups, avoiding the risk of certain signs and symptoms to be missed, and provides you with the best environment to maintain good health in your personal and professional life.
